“I was very pleased with the services at the Parklane Hearing with Mrs. Lori B. This is a very professional office from the time you enter from the front desk person, Ms. Crystal to the Specialist. Mrs. Lori was just awesome in her presentation as well as tests performed. She explained everything in its entirety and the cost along with specials that was currently being run to help with costs. Unfortunately, we were not able to financially purchase at this time the Oticon digital hearing aids. due to our current medical and financial obligations, but, appreciated her courteous and professionalism in conducting and describing to me the joy in being able to hear, as well as the dynamics surrounding the loss, and the world of hearing one gains in having a device such as this to aid in restoring what I have missed hearing for over 20 years. I would highly recommend this healthy hearing center as one of your choices of places to consider when shopping for hearing aids. Just wanted to say “Thanks."”

“Who wants to admit their hearing is declining? How many times can you say "Whatcha say?" before people around you realize you have a problem. Alot of questions swirled around my mind the day I came in. Not to mention the slight embarrassment. Then I met Mrs. Barbery, She greeted me with a smile, and immediately made me feel comfortable. She didn't do anything extravagant, She was just personable, and reassuring at a time when I needed it. The product is amazing, but the staff is what will keep me coming back to this location. “I went to the Palmetto hearing on Parklane Rd. today for a scheduled appt. This is the first visit since The original Palmetto Hearing moved to Camden. The original staff that I had visited for years was no longer at the Parklane location. Upon entering the Parklane office I was greeted by a very nice receptionist. I have asthma, and cancer. There was a strong air freshener plugged into the reception office. Immediately I began to have an asthma attack. I put a scarf over my nose and mouth. The receptionist was very concerned & offered to put a chair away from the small reception area. I ask for a separate room to sit in, but was told no, they did not have one. I had arrived 30 min. early to be sure I was on time. After waiting 15 min. The audiologist came out, looked at me and ask what I was doing there. The receptionist told here I had arrived early for my appt. The audiologist argued with the receptionist , and continued to talk down to me. This appt. had been set 2 weeks prior. The audiologist became very upset, and told me that I did not have an appt., that my appt. was in Camden. I live in Lexington, and had driven to the office where I made the appt. Again the receptionist spoke up & told her that I did have an appt. I ask the audiologist if she could take me earlier due to the asthma attack. She became very indignant and said no, that she was going to eat lunch & I could wait outside in the cold. I told her I just would not come back. She said that was fine with her. I was there just to have my battery checked. She was rude, crude & very none professional. The former staff never treated me in this manner. I am very dissatisfied with this audiologist. This practice is not a part of Palmetto Hearing. ”
