Steven Kulsar, Au.D., Ph.D., is a licensed audiologist in South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Washington, DC, and New York. He joined HearingLife in 2020 after managing Maryland offices and serving as a telehealth audiologist. In 2024, he began working in the Charleston region, bringing experience in ENT, private practice, and hospital settings. Dr. Kulsar provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for patients of all ages and specializes in aural rehabilitation and advanced digital hearing technology.
He earned his bachelor’s degree with distinction and Doctor of Audiology from James Madison University, completed a fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center, and received his Ph.D. from Gallaudet University. He holds ASHA certification and has presented at professional conferences nationwide. Outside the clinic, he has nearly two decades of experience teaching and interpreting American Sign Language and serves as an adjunct ASL professor.
Dr. Kulsar is committed to delivering individualized, collaborative care that empowers patients through education, counseling, and personalized treatment to maximize communication and quality of life.
