Widex was founded in Denmark in 1956. Today, the company does business in more than 100 countries worldwide and employs more than 4,000 people. In 2019, Widex merged with Sivantos to form WS Audiology A/S. Widex’s US headquarters is located in Hauppauge, New York.

Widex’s premium Allure™ hearing aid is powered by the fast W1 processer chip, which allows the device to adjust to sound more quickly. It features Allure PureSound™ for a natural listening experience and Speech Enhancer Pro to make speech clearer in noisy environments.

All Allure styles are rechargeable and have smartphone connectivity.

Allure is suitable for mild to profound hearing loss, depending on the style of hearing aid.

Another popular Widex option is their Evoke hearing aid, which also uses machine learning to adapt to a wearer's listening environment. Widex CROS is for single-sidead deafness, and it uses Evoke technology.
