Oticon Intent™

Oticon's flagship product, Oticon Intent™ received a few key updates in 2025.

The Intent combines two technologies—four-dimensional user-intent sensors and an improved deep neural network—to create a hearing aid capable of understanding a user’s listening intentions. The sensors track head and body movement to better identify listening needs in real time, automatically adjusting to deliver clearer, more personalized sound.

It is compatible with iPhone and select Android devices and it's suitable for mild to profound levels of hearing loss.

The latest update expands connectivity with Bluetooth® LE Audio and Google’s Fast Pair, allowing Android™ users to connect instantly and enjoy effortless, high-quality streaming. A new miniBTE R style is now available offering Oticon’s smallest and most powerful behind-the-ear option with dual fitting levels, touch controls, and a full day of battery life.

Powered by Oticon’s BrainHearing™ technology and second-generation AI sound processing, Intent continues to deliver the company’s fastest, most natural sound experience yet—now with future-ready support for Auracast™ broadcast audio and other next-generation features.

Oticon Own™

Oticon also offers the Oticon Own™. These discreet in-the-ear hearing aids are made from impressions of your ear canal, and also include the deep neural network. Learn more at the Own page.

The table below summarizes Oticon's current line-up of hearing aids. Prices can vary widely, though most range between $2,000 to $6,000. Pricing may or may not include ongoing services and device maintenance from an audiologist or hearing instrument specialist.

Standard hearing aid features

Like all major manufacturers, Oticon organizes their hearing aid models into levels of technology and features to fit the lifestyle and budget of every patient. Certain features are standard on all current Oticon hearing aid models intended for adults:

• Digitally programmable to fit a wide variety of hearing loss configurations
• Available in an array of styles and colors
• Wireless capability to connect with phones and other external devices
• At least one style that can accommodate a t-coil for accessing induction loop amplification in public spaces, like theaters and places of worship

Premium hearing aid features

Premium hearing aid features are those that are generally available at the highest price point and include the most advanced technology, such as what's found in the Oticon Intent:

• Machine learning features, like the on-board deep neural network that helps the hearing aid pick meaningful sound out of noise
• Microphones arrays or sensors, such as the user-intent sensors that can detect where the user is looking in order to highlight sound from that direction
• Fast sound processing that reduces background noise, including door slams and other noises that don't need to be louder
• Rechargeable batteries, both desktop and portable chargers are available for recharging
• Wireless streaming from your smartphone to your hearing aids 
• A music program that captures the complexities and dynamic range of music

Pediatric hearing aids

Oticon has long been regarded as a leader in pediatric amplification with the types of hearing aids and accessories needed by children in the classroom and beyond. The Opn Play PX hearing aids have a fast processing speed, which improves the child's ability to understand speech and reduces unwanted noise better. For children with severe or profound hearing loss, Oticon offers the Xceed Play model. Pediatric hearing aid models are available in styles that sit behind the ear. These styles are best for children since they grow and change too quickly to make custom-fit in the ear (ITE) hearing aids practical.

In addition to providing multiple fun color options and stickers for personalization, the following kid-friendly features come standard on the pediatric hearing aids:

• An LED light on the case to indicate the hearing aid is functioning properly
• Hypoallergenic, phthalate-free case construction
• Water and dust resistance
• Shock and drop resistance
• Tamper-resistant battery doors

Super power hearing aids

For adults with severe or profound hearing loss, Oticon offers the Xceed. Xceed is a super power BTE style with an amplifier that puts out a lot of sound with a size 13 battery, which is a smaller battery than power aids of the past. 

Other hearing aids made by Oticon

For people with single-sided deafness, Oticon also offers a CROS hearing aid. A CROS hearing aid contains a transmitter with a microphone that wirelessly picks up and sends the sound from your poorer ear to the better ear. It is available with a rechargeable battery.

Hearing aids for veterans

If you’re a veteran with diagnosed hearing loss, your VHA benefits include Oticon products. For veterans who also have tinnitus, Tinnitus SoundSupport is available in most of their hearing aid styles. Oticon's hearing aids include features like Bluetooth connectivity, telecoil, compact design, and rechargeable batteries. Hearing advocates consider these the four most important features in a hearing aid.

Accessories for Oticon hearing aids

Oticon offers accessories and assistive technology to help people better connect with the world around them. If your hearing aids don't connect wirelessly with your smartphone, Oticon offers ConnectClip as a hands-free solution. This accessory can also act as a remote microphone in meetings, worship services, cars and sports venues.

Oticon Companion app

The Oticon Companion app gives users more control of their hearing. You can adjust volume, change programs, connect to accessories, and more. The RemoteCare feature lets you connect virtually with your hearing care provider. It is available for iPhones, Apple Watches and select Android phones.

Oticon gives back to the community

The Oticon Hearing Foundation is a charitable organization strives to support non-profit humanitarian initiatives to assist people with little or no access to hearing treatment. To that end, they fund annual global missions to help individuals across the world receive the hearing healthcare they need. They also run a recycling program that reconditions donated hearing aids and sends them to select locations in need of hearing health technology.
