“My initial call to the practice was to get a hearing test done, at the same time come in with hearing devices that were gifted to me. Even though I did require hearing aids , I’ve never actually looked into them including how the technology worked. I already had downloaded the application for the manufacture and did not want to use the gifted hearing aids until I got more information about them and of course , warranties, parts and accessories . The test and general consultation was great. I then showed the devices to the audiologist who checked the warranty saying it was still good for a couple of years and would be transferred to me. **They were barely used prior to being given to me. Before I attempted to either program each device myself . I asked how much it would cost to program. I just needed a price . The audiologist /consultant left the room to find out the cost and about 4 minutes later. Came back and said it cost $800.00 and I already adjusted them from 90 to 70 assuming it was a percentage . I’m in healthcare as well, I’m also having financial difficulties now living alone. Ended up having to leave my credit card on file . So that they can charge my debit card. When I contacted the manufacturer they said the cost was astronomical. And they with the application could have adjusted the via WiFi and the application at no charge since they were in fact still under manufacturer warranty. Especially since I had the script with the test results of my hearing loss. Which my BC/BS insurance covered less the copay. Still don’t know what I’m going to do come August 13th. I cannot afford it at this time . Very upset with this unexpected fee. Because I was quoted $400.00 over the phone when I made the appointment- just was not sure if the model was still in production was not told that it would only cover 1 hearing aid. Hopefully a manager will contact me prior to August 13th. I loved the location, very convenient the young lady who answered the phone for the appointment was very good and professional. The audiologist was very good, kind and knowledgeable. I still know for a fact I never would have allowed anyone to charge me until I know I had the funds first. ”

“HearingLife changeg my life! It gave me a NEW IMPROVED Life! Every time I heard on the radio or watched the “giving away” show - i thought it was all fake. I never ever win anything! Ever! And now not only did i win my first prize but I won the biggest of all - taking my life back! These are all changes plus more! 1. All the sounds around me seem diff - blinking left and right signal in the car, my own footsteps ( am i this clumsy), etc. 2. Able to hear how the nature truly sounded. Beautiful! 3. Be able to tell if there is a walker or cyclist coming behind me. 4. Be able to hear my students’ questions without asking them to repeat numerous times. 5. Be able to avoid embarrassment during a team meeting when answering questions because I heard it wrong. 6. I am able to hear clearly in the crowded area like the restaurants, sports arena, concert, etc. 7. I can hear clearly in school especially in the cafeteria. 8. I can hear the conversation clearly in the car. I used to not able to hear my passengers in the backseats talking's to me. 9. My children do not have to “scream” talk to me anymore if they are on the second floor talking to me right below. 10. I have more confident having conversations with everyone. I enjoy my time more with all my friends and family! Thank you for bringing my life back! ❤️”
