Jon Royals is a North Carolina native and proud U.S. Air Force veteran who has been dedicated to the hearing healthcare field since 2013. He earned his license as a Hearing Instrument Specialist in 2015 and is board certified in the state of North Carolina.
Throughout his career, Jon has been recognized for his commitment to excellence, earning multiple honors—including the Annual Patient Satisfaction Award on three occasions. His passion for helping others stems from personal experience, having witnessed the challenges, frustration and isolation that hearing loss created for several of his own family members.
Jon is devoted to delivering compassionate, individualized care and improving the quality of life for every patient he serves.

“The staff and Optometrists at Wilmington Hearing Specialist have been providing service to our family for over six years. “She took time with me. She listened to my concerns about my husband who is 82. She was wonderful. She took me in the back, talked to me in private. (I didn't have the same experience with the man doctor that I had there when I first came in - it's not like I was just intending to go to the waiting room.)
