Dr. David Maloney grew up in Upstate New York. He has been a practicing audiologist since 2019. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from The College of Saint Rose and continued on to receive his Doctor of Audiology degree from Montclair State University in 2023. He has completed clinical rotations at Hackensack Hospital, University Hospital, ENT & Allergy and at Hearing Life, where he’s been since 2021. Dr. Maloney takes the time to understand each patient’s unique needs and concerns. He specializes in comprehensive hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, and customized hearing rehabilitation plans. He believes in empowering his patients to reconnect with the sounds and conversations that matter most to them. He is also an advocate for hearing health awareness and frequently participates in community outreach programs to educate individuals about the importance of hearing protection and regular hearing check-ups. Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Maloney loves spending time with his family, playing softball, watching his favorite sports teams, and hiking mountains across the Northeast as he is an aspiring Adirondack 46er.

What impressed me the most, however, is the fact that, after my hearing evaluation, the audiologist David actually advised me to not consider hearing aids, since my hearing was borderline problematic.He further suggested that I come back next year for another evaluation.
