Personality. Let me give you an example from my last appointment. It was the day after I worked all night on a legal pleading, and every one of my nerves was on fire. I guess you could say that every drop of MY intelligence, knowledge, and personality had drained from me. At that moment, I needed nothing else in life except sleep and a well-functioning left hearing aid. Dr. Parro never lost her cool, worked out a temporary fix, and sent me home to sleep and to await the manufacturer's permanently fixing and returning the aid. Dr. Parro is more than an audiologist. “I have had my Oticon hearing aids for several years, and Dr Parro has worked with me to address my problems and concerns during our twice-yearly appointments. Each time I saw improvements, but today she had some new software that made it possible for her to adjust various settings with me able to hear the differences and get the adjustments for each program to my satisfaction. I had often complained about the program used to manage my hearing aids from my IPhone, but this time she had a new IPhone ap that allows me to make more types of adjustments. This is a major improvement. I commend Dr Parro for her patience in dealing with my concerns over the years. January 2025 Update - I have been seeing Dr. Parro regularly ever since I got my hearing aids. Over that time, she has been very patient with me and taken the time to answer all my questions and make adjustment to address my concerns.
