“After shopping many companies, hearing aids on January 2018 I purchased my hearing aids from this branch. To date the units needed many tweeks, adjustments, and returns. Know that this office does not make the devices but they stand behind the product. Dr Hal Freed is never to busy to run the procedures for the units, to the client and always with a smile. Sharon the technician Is very knowledgeable, exceptionally patient, more then able to resolve any problem with the units, will tirelessly demonstrate their use until the client knows how to use the product. As for the front desk, Cassie, BB, and Destiny are very courteous, and will resolve problems and accommodate appointments to fit the clients needs. All in all I would strongly recommend this establishment with a four and a half star ratting. ”

“My experience there was first rate. Ms. Philip was very helpful and informative concerning my hearing aid choices. She explained in great detail how to use and take care of the devices. Dr. Freed is very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining how I lost more hearing in one ear over the other which I found to be a relief. He is very personable and makes you feel very at ease. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction and he recommended the best device suited to my needs. “Dr. Freed took the time to give me a comprehensive hearing evaluation. It appears that over the years my ability to hear has decreased. Upon his analysis of my condition he recommened a set of hearing aids that improved my hearing ability at the higher spectrum. Now I was also so very pleased with Sharon Phillip, his assistant who spent a considerable time with me making adjustments to the level that the sound from the aids is a so very close to the same sounds without the aid. Furthermore, she fitted me with the most comfortabe "buds" for my ears that I no longer wish to pull them out of my ears. To conclude my hearing has improved since the aids are working better and the fit in the ears is no longer a distriction. I also must include the the two ladies at reception. They are kind, warm and highly professional.”

“I called the Bayside Office help. I am a client. My question was that I wanted to replace the installed microphone with a new one. All I wanted to know was the replacement tab blue or black for the proper replacement for my hearing aid. I have the blue and black tabs my aid is the Oticon Alta2Pro. They could not answer my question and an office appointment was required . You sell hearing aides and distribute supplies for this device and an appointment is needed for the answer. What even made this experience even worse, they hung up on me! ”

I felt very comfortable explaining my loss of hearing situation to him. His recommendation was a very small hearing aid which is not noticeable to other people. I was concerned about that. LOL. “I suggest that you carefully review your contract before your sign it. What I was told during my first visit was very different than what appeared in the contract. I guess I am too trusting. You may want to know that if you are dissatisfied with your hearing aids and return them you are liable for 10% of the cost per hearing aid. That can come out to quite a sum if your hearing aids cost as much as $4900. In addition if you are told that if you lose your hearing aid, the loss is covered, that is not true. There is a 25% fee which came out to over $625. Buyer beware! Check that contract carefully before you sign. To add insult to the injury, the hearing aid does not even help with my hearing loss.”
