Dr. Jamie Gilgren grew up in Anchorage, AK and Salt Lake City, UT. She began her career in 2000 as a hearing aid technician while pursuing higher education. She eventually transitioned into private practice before joining HearingLife in 2024. Dr. Gilgren earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Pathology and a second Bachelor of Arts degree in Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado in 1999. She obtained her master's degree in Audiology from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002 and her Doctorate in Audiology from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2006. Dr. Gilgren has extensive experience in the diagnostic processes used to assess and treat hearing problems.
In her free time, Dr. Gilgren enjoys off-roading, geocaching, movies and books. She has served as the Board Secretary for a non-profit organization since 2020. Having summered in Monument, CO, since age 5, she now resides in Berthoud, CO, with her husband, son, two dogs and one cat.
