Jim’s interest in audiology grew from recognizing how noise exposure affects hearing. With an early career in industrial manufacturing—frequenting automotive and machining plants—he developed firsthand insight into how work and lifestyle can impact hearing over time. Since beginning his hearing care career in 2002, Jim has used his problem-solving skills and empathy to help clients find personalized solutions for their hearing needs.
Outside of work, Jim enjoys fly-fishing in local lakes and rivers with his 120-pound Newfoundland, Ghillie. Together, they volunteer for Casting for Recovery retreats for breast cancer survivors and visit children at Shriners Hospital in Springfield. Jim is also an active member of The Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks.
