“The care that I receive from Dr. Ali Silverman is above and beyond anything I had imagined. I have friends with hearing aides, and from what I understand I am receiving care that is top notch! At every visit Dr. Silverman makes sure of my comfort level & more. Dr Silverman even cleaned them for me and checked them to make sure they are performing as they should. From the day I started wearing my hearing aides and we worked out the level of noise, sound variability and other hearing modalities it just made my life so much better; she was incredible. Having Tinnitus I require a certain type of Aid, and I believe the soft music setting on my brand has helped in many ways. I have to also say that the staff in the office is also caring, kind & helpful. So between having an Amazing Doctor that makes my visit comfortable the entire staff is just incredible. “After having a Hyperbaric treatment I experienced ear blockage because my ear did not pop from the internal pressure & severe tinnitus (like loud tambourines playing in my ear), it caused anxiety/headaches, and interfered with my sleep. An ENT who also did a hearing test said, "I needed an MRI, " but I wanted another opinion as I knew exactly what was blocking my ear/hearing. I found Hearing Partners of SF on the internet and felt going to an Audiologist who specializes in hearing loss/tinnitus may be a better avenue. Upon my first visit & exam, right off I noticed a much thorough examination which included a tinnitus test. Turned out I developed an unbalanced hearing loss which impacted me in several ways. Dr. Silverman took a huge amount of time with me explaining my medical conditions, my options, special treatments for tinnitus and even allowed me to sit and test a hearing aide to see how my hearing would benefit. I decided to take the 30 day option to test drive a hearing aide that Dr. Silverman felt would be my best choice in manufactures. 2 weeks later, the ringing, and loud sounds I had in my ears are now more like Shushing sounds & much lower. I can also hear better, hear my grandkids better, and my sleep improved and my anxiety is not so elevated. I am optimistic that they will continue to bring improvement. Dr. Silverman also found that the pressure I had from the HBOT was no longer affecting my hearing. It may have triggered the hearing loss to be more noticeable and increased the level of tinnitus. Dr Silverman is amazing, patient, caring, knowledgeable about hearing loss, new devices & technology available for different types of hearing losses. My hearing is unique as it is different in both ears, most people have the same hearing loss in both ears. I feel so blessed and lucky to have found Hearing Partners of South Florida. Don't postpone taking care of your hearing as from my experience believe sound depravation may cause more problems.”
