Dr. Cara Kreisman,

Audiologist
Dr. Cara is an accomplished audiologist and also serves as an adjunct professor and clinical instructor at Calvin University. She's committed to providing comprehensive ear and hearing care for patients of all ages.
She earned both her undergraduate and graduate studies at Western Michigan University in 1996 and 1998, and later completed her doctoral work at AT Still University in Mesa, Arizona. With experience in varied settings—from the Veteran’s Administration and ENT offices to schools, hospitals, and specialized private practices—Dr. Cara has developed a diagnostic and therapeutic approach that emphasizes identifying root causes of auditory dysfunction and implementing effective, individualized treatments.
Whether caring for children or adults, Dr. Cara’s approach is holistic, empathetic, and grounded in her commitment to best practices. Her strong background in diagnostics and treatment enables her to equip patients of all ages with the resources they need to overcome hearing challenges and foster clearer, stronger connections with the world around them.
Dr. Stacey Braund,
AuD, CCC-A
Audiologist
Dr. Stacey Braund combines expertise with compassion and in her role as an audiologist. She earned her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Western Michigan University in 2009, followed by her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from Wayne State University in 2013. She has specialized training in diagnosising and treating Auditory Processing Disorders (APD) and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Dr. Braund’s professional background spans a variety of settings, including ENT clinics, non-profit organizations, and specialty private practices. This diverse work experience has allowed her to develop therapy strategies to address the root causes of auditory challenges, ensuring every individual receives a personalized care plan.
Dr. Braund is passionate about helping individuals of all ages navigate hearing loss and auditory processing challenges. She takes a personalized approach to care, carefully assessing each patient's needs and creating solutions that may involve advanced hearing technology, specialized therapy, or a combination of both.
When Dr. Braund is not in the clinic, she enjoys life in the Grand Rapids area with her husband, teenage stepdaughter, and two young sons. She loves family time, music concerts, and diving into a good book.

Comprehensive Adult Hearing Evaluations
Are adult hearing evaluations are thorough, evidence based and back by more than 35 years of combined experience working. Working with individuals of all ages. During your appointment will provide detailed information. About your current hearing health and the overall condition of your auditory system
In addition we provide you with information to help you better understand the potential impacts of hearing loss; causes of hearing loss; how to prevent further hearing deterioration; and what community resources might be available to you. If a medical referral is indicated based on conversation, history, and/or test results that information will be communicated as well.
Comprehensive Pediatric Hearing Evaluations
Our pediatric diagnostic hearing evaluations are thoughtfully designed to cater to the unique auditory system needs of children. Our team boasts extensive experience in working with young patients and will provide you with information about your child's hearing ability, as well as information about the overall health of your child’s peripheral auditory system.
During the evaluation process, we'll have open informative discussions and share resources to help you understand pediatric hearing loss, its causes, prevention strategies, and long-term impacts. We’ll also guide you through local and national resources. If our findings or your child's medical history indicates the need for medical a referral, we will clearly communicate the next steps.
