Kate acquired Evanston Audiology in 2022, following several years of part-time patient care at the practice since 2017. During that time, she was also completing her Ph.D. in Audiology and Hearing Sciences at Northwestern University. After earning her degree, she joined the faculty at Rush University.
From 2016 to 2022, she served as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Externship Coordinator in the Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences. Dedicated to advancing the field of audiology, she continues to mentor and supervise audiology students in training from various universities across Illinois.
At Evanston Audiology, we combine years of research experience with our clinical services to provide the highest level of care and expertise to our patients.

“I have been seeing Dr. Dunckley since she took over the practice in 2022. She is a very caring and intelligent audiologist who has become my friend, I have been very pleased with her attention to detail and finding the right and best hearing aid for me. When I needed an ENT she recommended one to me. I have both a high and low frequency loss which is not easy to correct She recommended a hearing aid and has worked with me to get the best benefit out of it. At first I did not adjust them to various situations which was hindering my ability to hear, and needless to say I was discouraged. Dr. Dunckley encouraged me to use the app , which she taught me how to use. Easy adjustments for any situation. Her solutions have always benefited me. She has never been too busy to listen to my concerns, answer my questions or to see me. When you are with Dr. Dunckley you are the only person she is focusing on. If you are looking for an audiologist I would highly recommend Dr. Dunckley”
