Dr. Culbertson, a certified audiologist and practice owner, has over 20 years of experience in the hearing healthcare field. Her extensive clinical background includes working in medical settings, where she specialized in diagnostic hearing and balance evaluations, hearing aid fittings, and clinical management.
She has also worked in private audiology practices, focusing on hearing aid evaluations, sales, and services. Dr. Culbertson earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado and her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and holds a Virginia state license in audiology and hearing aid dispensing.
With a career-long dedication to fitting hearing aids, Dr. Culbertson finds great joy in helping patients enhance their quality of life through modern hearing aid technology.
After raising their two children in Maryland, Dr. Culbertson and her husband relocated to the Charlottesville area in 2015. In her free time, she enjoys hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains, exploring local wineries, watching college basketball, and spending quality time with friends and family.
She is also a proud member of the American Academy of Audiology.
