Kelley Ainsworth Powell, MCD, CCC-A, is a Baton Rouge native with deep roots in the local community. A graduate of Parkview Baptist, she earned her Bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and her Master’s degree from the LSU Medical Center in New Orleans. She holds membership in the American Speech–Language–Hearing Association and the Louisiana Academy of Audiology, and is licensed by the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
Kelley began her career as an audiologist in 1995. She spent over 20 years serving patients at Ochsner and The Hearing Center of Drs. Hansbrough, Peters, Traxler, and Scallan. In January 2020, she launched her own private practice—Ainsworth Audiology—with the goal of expanding access to high-quality hearing care. Her mission is to provide exceptional, affordable service by utilizing patients' insurance benefits and supporting them in achieving their hearing health goals.
A devoted family person, Kelley is the proud mother of two children. Her daughter, Kenzie, is studying Marketing at Southeastern Louisiana University and also works at Ainsworth Audiology. Her son, Tanner, plays baseball and studies Business at South Arkansas Community College in El Dorado, Arkansas. Kelley’s close-knit family—including her parents, Ollie and Sandy, and her brothers, Kevin and Kurt—has played a vital role in her life. Her father, Ollie, remains a constant source of support and often helps around the office at Ainsworth Audiology.
Outside of work, Kelley enjoys traveling and cherishes time spent with her loved ones. Her genuine care for people shines through in the meaningful relationships she builds with her patients.
