Community Hearing Center

Dr. Cory Workman arrives in Estes Park from Idaho, bringing a wealth of experience in audiology. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Idaho State University in his hometown of Pocatello in 2006, followed by a Doctorate in Audiology from the same institution in 2013. His clinical residency took place at Colorado West Otolaryngologists Ear, Nose & Throat clinic in Grand Junction, CO, where he later spent three years specializing in hearing loss and balance disorders. During his time there, he also managed the implantable hearing device program. Most recently, Dr. Cory worked as a clinical audiologist with Southwest Idaho ENT in Boise.

Dr. Cory specializes in diagnosing and treating hearing loss, balance and dizziness disorders, and provides services such as hearing aids, repairs, wax removal, hearing protection, and assistive devices. He takes a personalized and straightforward approach, dedicated to enhancing the lives of his patients.

His leadership experience includes serving on the national Student Academy of Audiology board of directors from 2011 to 2013 and as president of the Colorado Academy of Audiology from 2014 to 2015. He holds board certification from the American Board of Audiology and remains actively engaged in advancing the audiology profession on a national level.

Outside of work, Dr. Cory and his wife, Melinda, have two daughters and share a passion for music, the arts, and the outdoors. Whether enjoying live music around town or biking and skiing in the mountains, they are excited to be part of the Estes Park community and look forward to many years ahead.

Stephanie became a part of our team in June 2024. She appreciates the compassion of her colleagues and enjoys helping the amazing people in our community. Originally from Lee’s Summit, MO, she relocated with her family three years ago and transitioned from a career in surgery to the field of audiology.

In her free time, Stephanie loves hiking and fly fishing while taking in the stunning views of Estes Park.

She is here to assist with your hearing needs, including supply purchases, minor repairs, and scheduling at Community Hearing Center.

Dr. Caney Demars earned her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado and her Bachelor of Science from the University of Vermont. She specializes in diagnosing and treating hearing loss, as well as the fitting and verification of amplification. Her expertise also extends to cochlear implants and bone-anchored devices for both pediatric and adult patients. She has completed the Advanced CI Audiology course through the Institute of Cochlear Implant Training, further enhancing her skills in selecting, fitting, and evaluating implantable devices.

Dr. Demars is deeply passionate about working with children of all ages with hearing loss, emphasizing the importance of early intervention and collaborative care. Regardless of age, she is committed to providing top-quality patient care and finding personalized solutions to meet her patients' needs.

She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and holds certification through the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Additionally, she is certified in Animal Audiology through the University of Northern Colorado.

Her dedication to community service was sparked by a humanitarian mission to Toluca, Mexico, in 2015, and she continues to support both local and international communities. She is proud to be part of Longmont Hearing and Tinnitus Center, where Dr. Rudden and other private practice owners in Colorado established the nonprofit organization Hearing the Call – Colorado. This initiative aims to provide accessible and affordable hearing healthcare at the community level. Dr. Demars values being part of a practice that aligns with her core beliefs of kindness, generosity, and excellence in patient care.
