Originally from Fairfax, Virginia, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Temple University and Doctorate in Audiology from Towson University. Her doctoral thesis concentrated on localization of sound using hearing aids compared to Personal-Sound-Amplification-Products

“If this practice is anything like the Wyomissing office, please think twice about making an appointment if you suffer from appointment. I was casually diagnosed with catastrophic tinnitus a few years ago and offered tinnitus retraining therapy. They offered hearing aids but they don't offer the all important counseling that is supposed to accompany the hearing aids "masking" therapy. Not only that, during my most recent appointment, my provider didn't bother to ask how I am doing. She didn't ask if the hearing aids were helping. She didn't offer any suggestions or advice on how to handle my severe tinnitus. God forbid a tinnitus sufferer like myself informs the provider that tinnitus is not only an auditory issue but a nervous system condition as as well- you'll quickly be shown the door.”
