Dr. Elisabeth Went, Au.D., is an experienced, dedicated and caring audiologist in Memphis. She is committed to providing exceptional hearing healthcare to every patient.
Elisabeth holds a Doctorate of Audiology degree and has extensive experience in diagnostic audiology and hearing aid fittings. She prioritizes personalized care tailored to your unique needs. Also, she strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel valued, respected, and empowered to take control of their hearing health. Elisabeth enjoys working with patients of all ages.
Additionally, she is dedicated to educating individuals about the importance of hearing preservation as well as the benefits of early intervention.
Dr. Nancy Hawkins,
AuD, CCC-A
Audiologist
Dr. Nancy Hawkins earned both a Doctorate in Audiology and a Master’s Degree in Audiology from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Dr. Hawkins is Board Certified with the American Academy of Audiology. Additionally, she earned a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Dr. Hawkins brings experience with all of the major hearing aid manufacturers. She enjoys diagnostic testing and building relationships with her patients. Dr. Hawkins loves guiding patients toward their goals for better hearing and communication.
In fact, her passion as an audiologist in Memphis is helping her patients reconnect with the world.

Central Arkansas Hearing has changed its name to American Hearing & Audiology.
With your help, we have become the most well-respected audiology practice in the area and as you know, its providers and staff are well-regarded. This is why we’re happy to report that all of the staff members are staying with us! We will continue to provide excellent care at the practice you normally visit with just a name change.
American Hearing & Audiology is honoring all hearing aid service agreements, warranties, and trial periods for all patients.
