August Update - I am very impressed with The hearing and vision store on Wyoming and Menaul. I needed my hearing aids cleaned and the app reloaded because I had accidentally unloaded it. They were very patient with me and kind. Romy and Jim are amazing there and they give you the personalized customer service instead of being a Number at some of the larger stores. “What a refreshingly pleasant experience, visiting The Hearing Aid Store, after an equally unpleasant experience with my original hearing aids provider. Original place seemed interested only in selling me a new set of aids, but Romy called a place and ordered a replacement part for one of my aids that had gone silent. It solved the problem and after she checked my hearing to establish a base for future checkups, I was out the door at a cost of only a fraction of what the original place wanted to charge for new hearing aids. Can't imagine a better place to go for whatever ails your hearing!”

I had stepped on one of my H.A. The place I bought them from was going to charge me $500 (that’s w/ the extended warranty). I called the H.A. I’ve found the responses from them to be quite variable—some good, some not so good. By far, the Hearing Aid Store has been the best. Their prices are great. I’ve found there is very little to no accountability around hearing aid prices. So, it’s nice that I find a place with prices that feel fair, affordable and representative of quality of the product, rather than simply whatever exorbitance the local market will bear. She’s totally professional, knows the products well, knows how to install them into the specifics of my ears, my hearing characteristics, fine tune them— in spite of my inchoate responses— and have me walking away with a smile on my face. My wife fractured her ankle and is in a rehab hospital and one of her AIDS broke between the dome and the equipment, the little wire.
