Audiologist
Dr. Jamie Ross is a dedicated and experienced audiologist with over 26 years of expertise in the field. She earned her Doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2004 and holds a Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Northridge, where she also completed her undergraduate studies.
Dr. Ross is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). She is licensed in Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing and is an active member of AAA, ASHA, and the Educational Audiology Association.
With a passion for helping individuals of all ages, Dr. Ross has served as an Educational Audiologist for the Palmdale School District and the Los Angeles County Office of Education for over two decades. Additionally, she has been providing private audiology services for children and Veterans in the Antelope Valley for the past 12 years.
Dr. Ross is committed to improving communication and hearing health, ensuring every patient receives the highest quality care.
Darrell Duncan,

Hearing Aid Dispenser/Dealer
Darrell is a licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser, certified by the Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board since 2018. His journey in the field began with hands-on experience, volunteering and training at a local hearing aid company both before and after obtaining his license.
Before pursuing a career in hearing healthcare, Darrell earned his Associate of Science degree, Cum Laude, from Antelope Valley College. His dedication to improving communication extends beyond hearing aids—he has also studied American Sign Language (ASL) to better support individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
Outside of work, Darrell enjoys playing video games and watching Japanese anime, combining his love for technology and storytelling in his free time. He is passionate about helping others reconnect with the world of sound and providing compassionate, personalized hearing care.

At Small Talk Therapy, our licensed professionals provide comprehensive hearing care for children and adults. Using evidence-based techniques, we tailor evaluations and treatment to meet each individual’s needs.
- Audiologic Evaluations - A series of test will be performed to see if there is a hearing loss, why you may have a hearing loss, how severe it is, and what treatment is needed.
- Pure Tone Testing - Also known as air conduction testing, tests one’s hearing to find out what are the quietest pitches or frequencies an individual can hear.
- Speech Reception Threshold - This test will measure the softest level at which a person can hear and repeat familiar spoken words.
