Clinic details
The mission of Warrior Hearing Center, which is locally owned and run by Smithville resident Janice Richbourg, AuD., CCC/A, is to offer our neighbors in the Northland, Platte City, Kearney, Plattsburg, and the surrounding areas high-quality, easily accessible hearing services. To make sure every patient is hearing every speech sound with their hearing aids, Dr. Richbourg employs a focused approach to hearing healthcare that includes speechmapping and real ear measurements. She also works hard to make sure patients understand their hearing loss, how it affects their daily lives, and their alternatives for hearing devices since she firmly believes that education and awareness enable patients to succeed with hearing devices.

►Direct stimulation of the inner ear
►Optimizes speech understanding in quiet and noise
Implantable devices function differently than a hearing aid an are designed for those with profound hearing loss who do not benefit from traditional aids. The two most popular devices are:
►Bone Anchored Hearing Aids
►Cochlear Implants
The first step to determine if an implantable device is right for you is a hearing test. Once your type and degree of hearing loss have been identified, you and your audiologist can work together to figure out your best treatment plan.
Personal Sound Amplification Products (PSAPs) →
►Provide limited audible improvement in quiet
►Increase speech understanding in quiet and non-challenging listening situations

►Bose® Hearphones™
