Dr. Blaire Barnhart has an immense passion for serving her community in the field of rehabilitative audiology and welcomes patients of all ages from birth-geriatric. Her specialties include routine audiological testing, electrophysiological evaluations of the auditory and vestibular (balance) systems, selection, and fitting of hearing instrumentation in both the pediatric and adult populations, verification of the fitting, as well as comprehensive follow-up services. Dr. Barnhart practices patient-centered care and strives to have a trusting relationship with all her patients.
Dr. Barnhart earned her BS in Speech Pathology and Audiology with a minor in Psychology at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania before completing her Doctorate degree in Audiology at The University of Tennessee where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Barnhart concluded her studies at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, further specializing in pediatric audiology. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
When not in office, Dr. Barnhart can be found in her hiking boots exploring the mountains of East Tennessee and beyond, with the goal of visiting each National Park!

Bridgewater Balance and Hearing is a full-service audiology and vestibular practice, specializing in hearing impairments and balance deficits for all ages, from birth to adults. Bridgewater first opened its doors to the public in 2005 and has since expanded to 4 locations, including West Knoxville, Halls / Fountain City, Clinton, and Sevierville, Tennessee. We use the most up to date technology, approaches, and provide evidenced based practices to all testing and treatment. We have linked our other locations here for your convenience.
Our North Knoxville office is located on Fountain Valley Dr directly behind Captain D's in Halls, beside the UT building.
