Dr. Girouard is originally from the Boston area and practiced there for 10 years before moving to the Treasure Coast in 2001. She received her Masters degree from the University of Massachusetts and her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University and has been an Audiologist for the past 28 years.
Dr. Lori is passionate about educating not only her patients, but the community about hearing loss, treatments and the ramifications of untreated hearing loss in terms of brain health and wellness.

Walter Jenkins, a licensed hearing aid specialist, brings over 10 years of clinical experience and a national board-certification in hearing instrument science to his dedicated practice. His journey began with honorable service in the United States Marine Corps, where he excelled as a security forces non-commissioned officer.
Following his discharge, Walter pursued academic excellence, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from ITT Technical Institute and gaining induction into the National Technical Honor Society.
In his role as a hearing healthcare expert, Walter has conducted thousands of successful audiometric evaluations and fittings, earning recognition for his expertise in connecting patients with suitable hearing devices.

“Sterling Hearing Care has the best set up for hearing testing and hearing aids. My brother, who was somewhat of a 'doubting Thomas' regarding hearing loss and the ability to correct it felt very comfortable going there and being tested by Dr. Lori Girouard. He was very pleased with the outcome and with being able to hear the smallest sound when he tried on the very first pair of hearing aids he ever had in his ears. Thank you Dr. Lori!
