“Dr. Nye made me comfortable immediately by putting us on a first name basis. When I told him I was there for a hearing evaluation he explained the steps he would take to determine if I had a hearing loss. One was to remove ear wax, how he would do it, if it was covered by Medicare, which it wasn't, the cost if I wanted to do it, and explained every step of the procedure. When it came to my being in the chamber he helped me in. Then every test was explained thoroughly. Coming out of there he helped me once again. We went into his office and he explained in detail what the tests showed and told me a hearing aid would enhance my living. I knew I needed help and asked about the different units that would be available, and the cost. He showed me four different types of aids, explaining what each one does, and the prices. He also gave me different methods of payments at my request. Between my companion and myself I decided on one and to set me up for an appointment, at which time he will give me all the information I will need to get the best out of the one I chose. At no time did I feel pressure. I am thoroughly happy with the experience I had at Aspire. I would recommend them to anyone.”

“This summer(2024) I noticed more difficulty hearing and couldn't get my hearing aid to resolve my issues. I had my scheduled hearing aid maintenance visit and hearing test done by Dr. Wilkins. My Phonak audio left ear, Phonak CrosP right ear bought 2022 at Aspire Hearing& Balance was in good condition but my hearing loss had gotten worse. So same appointment Dr. Wilkins connected hearing aid to computer with my updated hearing test & adjusted it to new hearing prescription. "Happy day " I didn't have to buy a new hearing aid. My next review: I have an old hearing aid (2018) Phonak,BoleroB for left ear, PhonakCrosB for right ear that I wear when doing outside yard work, exercise in pool, etc. Since I have had a change in my hearing loss I wanted to check if Dr. Wilkins would inspect and advise me if she could update the hearing prescription using my hearing test from 2 months before, and the cost. Excellent appointment: hearing aid maintenance done ( cleaned, water removed,tubing changed, prescription verification). I am so pleased with a back up hearing aid that I can hear so well. The cost was reasonable. Also I know I will get the truth. Thank you Dr. Kayla for everything you do to keep me hearing at my best. You must be proud of your staff, they are incredible. “Let me first say, this experience of sudden hearing loss in my right ear was devastating, but here is why it is now not anywhere as bad as I thought, Kayla at Aspire not only has the knowledge, but the patience and personality to help me put this entire deal into perspective.
