Daisy Elwick,

Audiologist
Dr. Daisy Elwick is a licensed audiologist, she has been helping people achieve healthy hearing since 2005. She earned a master’s degree in audiology from California State University Los Angeles and a doctorate from the University of Florida. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and gained experience working in a variety of clinical settings.
When she is not helping patients hear better, Daisy enjoys spending time with her family, music and traveling.
Natalie Crespi,
MA, CCC-A
Audiologist
Audiologist Natalie Crespi has been in practice since 2006. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in Audiology from San Diego State University. Prior to joining our team, Natalie completed a fellowship sponsored by Cochlear Americas by the University of Miami Ear Institute and practiced there for several years specializing in diagnostic audiology and cochlear implants.
Monica Taggart,
AuD, FAAA
Audiologist
Licensed doctor of audiology Monica Blanco Taggart earned her Doctorate in Audiology with Honors from Nova Southeastern University. Her specialties include comprehensive diagnostic evaluations on both the adult and pediatric populations as well as hearing aid evaluations, programming, and servicing hearing devices. She also has extensive experience in evaluating hearing and balance disorders. She was born and raised in Miami and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Outside of the office, Dr. Taggart enjoys photography, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Rosie Simon,
AuD, CCC-A
Audiologist
Dr. Rosie Simon is a graduate of the University of Florida’s nationally-ranked doctorate in audiology program. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
She has several years of experience at the University of Miami Ear Institute where she gained extensive experience on diagnostic testing, cochlear implant evaluation and programming, as well as vestibular and balance testing. She also specializes in the latest technologies constantly evolving throughout the field of audiology.

► Hearing Evaluations: Our diagnostic hearing evaluation consist of conduction testing, bone conduction testing, and speech testing so we can understand the specifics of your hearing loss. Depending on what we find out, we may run additional tests.
► Hearing Aid Fittings and Servicing: We have been fitting patients for decades with hearing aids from all major manufacturers. Based on your individual hearing loss and needs, we'll make a personalized recommendation. We also help you maintain your hearing aids.
► Tinnitus Treatment: Tinnitus, also known as ringing in the ears. We offer counseling and tinnitus retraining to help make tinnitus less of an issue in your life. We offer hearing aids that feature tinnitus relief technology, as well as advanced treatments using bi-modal neuromodulation with Lenire Tinnitus Management systems.
► Auditory Processing Disorder: APD, is a type of hearing loss caused by something affecting the part of the brain that processes how you hear. We perform comprehensive diagnostics with detailed report of findings and plan a course of treatment for children and adults.
► Pediatric Services: Our audiologists specialize in taking care of young people with hearing loss, from infants to teenagers. We are parents ourselves and understand the unique challenges and concerns of helping families and children.

► Remote Hearing Aid Adjustment: Many of our patients are snowbirds who are only in Miami for part of the year. Recently our team has started using technology that lets us adjust your hearing aids even when you're in another state.
► Assistive Listening Devices: We stock external microphones and other devices that may be able to help with word understanding in certain situations. We work closely with telephone captioning services, and we can also help patients who want to connect their television to their hearing aids. If we think an assistive listening device would help you, we'll talk to you about your options.
► Cerumen Management: Accumulation of cerumen (earwax) in the ear can contribute to hearing loss. We can help keep your ears clean of cerumen.
► Custom Molds for Hearing Protection and Other Devices: We are able to make custom molds for a variety of uses, such as musicians' earplugs and in-ear monitors; hearing protection for hunting, DJs, sound engineers, etc.; swim plugs, and pilots’, motorcyclists’, and physicians’ specialty molds.

Hearing Aid Repair and Maintenance: If you have purchased hearing aids from someone else and are in need of service, we’ll be happy to help you with cleaning and adjustments for a reasonable fee. We also work with Ear Service Corporation (ESCO) to ensure your devices are protected.
