“I scheduled to get the Lenire tinnitus system. Dr. Ruth ran a complete hearing test on me and had a deep discussion on my hearing issues. She ran another test and adjusted my hearing aids. This allowed me to hear extremely well. I still have the tinnitus but it does not effect my ability to carry on a conversation without buying the Lenire system. That was the main thing I needed done. She solved my conversation problems. If I find that I still want the Lenire system I will be going to Richmond Hearing Doctors. Dr Ruth was so kind, knowledgeable and understanding! Based on the hearing test and hearing questionnaire, I qualify for the new Lenire device/treatments as one of my treatment options. Lenire is the very latest tinnitus treatment option, but is not currently approved by insurance. There was no pressure whatsoever by Dr Ruth to pursue the more expensive Lenire option, just a professional assessment of my condition and possible treatment(s).
