Audiologist

I have been with WellSpan Good Samaritan Audiology since 1988 and also served as a Major in the United States Air Force, working as an Audiologist. Throughout my career, I’ve been honored with several awards, including the Oticon Focus on People National Award for making a positive impact on the lives of those with hearing loss. The Central Penn Business Journal has recognized me twice—first with the 40 Under 40 Award for leadership, professional accomplishments, and commitment to inspiring change, and later with the Healthcare Hero Award in the Allied Health Hero category, honoring individuals and organizations making a significant positive impact on healthcare in the Midstate.

I have also received the Scholar Award from the American Academy of Audiology and am proud to be a Founding Member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology. My passion lies in providing each patient with an exceptional hearing care experience, tailored to their unique needs—because Hearing Care is Health Care.

My dedication to this field is deeply personal. My father worked at the Veterans Administration and retired from the Air Force, and I always knew I wanted a career that would help veterans. Audiology itself was born from the thousands of WWII service members who returned with significant noise-induced hearing loss—and I felt called to be part of that mission.

Beyond my professional life, I currently serve as President of the Lancaster Liederkranz Folk Dance Group, Alleweil Jung, performing from Harrisburg to Delaware. I also enjoy native gardening and spending time with my husband and our pets.
