Kurt Chappell earned his degree at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos. He possesses a wealth of experience having taught on the Texas State Board of Examiners in the fitting and dispensing of hearing aids and conducted research with a M.D. to develop the first invisible hearing aid.

Nancy Lucas,
AuD, CCC-A, FAAA
Audiologist
Dr. Nancy Lucas is a state licensed and Board Certified Audiologist who performs hearing tests and diagnoses and treats hearing loss using advanced technology and procedures.
Dr. Lucas earned her Bachelor's degree from Austin College, her Master's degree from the University of Texas at Dallas and her Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University in Pennsylvania. She spent nine years serving our nation's veteran's as an audiologist for the Department of Veteran's Affairs Fort Worth Outpatient Clinic.
Dr. Lucas has a special, personal interest in helping people hear better. She is the daughter of deaf parents and the sister of deaf siblings. This has given her a unique understanding and appreciation for the impact that hearing loss has on individuals and families. She is proficient in Americal Sign Language (ASL.)
Dr. Lucas is actively involved in several professional organizations in her field.

“Dear Kurt, With the warranty on my hearing aids about to expire, I felt this an napporirpiate time to express my sincere appreciation to you and your assistant, Autumn, for all of the work you have given me. Since this was my first hearing aid, I( was totally surprised getting one that was detailed especially for me. Little did I know that you would test me for easy words to understand follwed by often misundestood words, along with the volume of my voice set to my need. With all of that information, you then dowloaded it into a speacl computer to be sent to the company making my personalized hearing aid. I will never forget the moment I put both of my new hearing aids in my ears. It was like being in a new world with sound! Little had I realized my need was so intense. During those nearly three years, you and Autumn have been so kind in helping me get them "fine-tuned" or replaced, and never with any sort of a grumble. This is true professionalism, something not often found in today's world. Besides the time you devoted to your business, you along with other hearing professionals find the time and resources to go to Colombia annually for a week to donate your talents to work with youths who do not have the money to be fitted for hearing aids. While you are gone, your assistant Autumn remains home to run the office. To me, that is the perfect definition of a gentleman and a lady! You are a couple I will never forget. Sincerely, Lewis ”
