Norman earned a B.S. in Communication Disorders from Utah State University in 1992 and an M.A. in Hearing and Speech Sciences–Audiology from Ohio University in 1994. Before moving to South Dakota, he gained experience working in a hospital in Texas and an ENT clinic in Oregon. Passionate about hearing health, Norman enjoys educating others on hearing loss prevention and helping individuals with hearing loss enhance their connections with family and friends through improved hearing.
He and his wife, Terri, have five children: Ashley, Emily, Caitlyn, Wesley, and Edwin. Norman values time with his family, actively participates in church and the Boy Scouts, and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, hunting, and horseback riding. The Sorensen family lives near Hermosa and spends their free time exploring the Black Hills.
