Dr. Terry looked at my hearing aid and say, “The… is broken but it will just take a minute to fix. Let me also check your ears.” She found a wax encrusted dome in one ear, and a more recent lost dome in the other. She removed both, painlessly, and gave me a lesson on how to keep that from happening again. That is the definition of care, of going beyond what was asked or expected.
