“Back in 1990, when I was offered a teaching job, I knew I was going to need a hearing aid. I was deaf in one ear and had reduced hearing in the other. I went to see Bill Diles, the owner of the Kenwood Hearing Center. Since that time, I have had nothing but positive experiences with, not just Bill, but others too as he expanded his office locations around Sonoma county. Bill told me at that first appointment, technology would keep up with my hearing. He has been right! I am now still deaf in one ear, but also have a profound loss in the other. People who don’t know me don’t know I have a hearing loss. Some of my friends get their hearing aids at big box retailers because they are cheaper. They have no idea of what it is like to have a real relationship with a hearing professional you trust. For 33 years I have been to Bill to have my hearing aid turned up and then down as whenever I got sick, it settled in my ears. I’ve had countless problems, all but one of which, Bill has solved. Last month, I got a new Phonak hearing aid from Bill at the Petaluma center. Because I live in Oakmont, I’ve been working with the Mission Circle center for adjustments. I have only positive things to say about my experiences with Martha and Dan, both of whom were very welcoming. I will though, go back to Petaluma now and again because Bill holds a very special place in my heart!”
