“I rarely ever write reviews, and, in this case, I procrastinated for a few months before writing this one. My wife had been asking me for more than two years to have my hearing checked, as I was often having to ask her to repeat herself. I also frequently attend business mixers, which are usually quite noisy. At these events, I had been noticing that I was having more trouble hearing those whom I was speaking with than they were hearing me. When I met with Jeff Grama, I was surprised that he was able to observe I had a hearing loss just after a minute or two of chatting. He told me that my right ear was worse than my left. Then he tested me, and the results supported he was right. Mr. Grama made it clear for me to understand that I had a mild loss in my left ear and a moderate loss in my right and why I was having trouble hearing my wife and in noisy environments. He then explained why the best hearing aids for me would be the Oticon 2S. Next, he took out a pair, adjusted them to my hearing loss, and then placed one in each ear. I couldn't believe the immediate difference. It seemed like a miracle! My hearing loss must have been considerably worse than I thought for the difference to be that great. So, I told him I want these. He said he preferred me to take them with me and try them. He did not even ask for even a deposit. What I immediately found was that these hearing aids made a huge positive impact on my life. It became much easier to communicate with my wife. Amazingly, I no longer have had trouble hearing others at noisy events and often have found myself hearing attendees better than they hear me! And the hearing aids are so small that nobody ever seems to even notice I'm wearing them. So, I bought the hearing aids from him after doing research on pricing and finding his prices to be very reasonable. Mr. Grama also told me that I probably have had a hearing loss for many years and that it was just gradually getting worse. I explained to him that, during my college days, I attended many loud rock concerts. Of course, in those days, no one wore ear protection. After leaving these events, I often found my ears ringing and having trouble hearing for hours. He told me this was when my hearing problems actually began. It makes perfect sense to me that he was right. Mr. Grama is very caring, patient and understanding, and he knows what he is doing. As long as he continues to practice, I will never go to another audiologist other than him. He changed my life and I thank him for this.”
