Dr. Ashley Al-Izzi became the proud owner of Hearing Specialty Center in 2025, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a diverse background in audiology. Her career includes work in private practice, a leading hearing aid manufacturer, a large multidisciplinary medical setting, and work as an educational audiologist. This broad perspective enables her to deliver hearing care with both advance clinical insight and technical expertise.
Dr. Al-Izzi made the decision to return to private practice to be more directly involved in shaping patient outcomes and providing the personalized care that truly transforms lives. At Hearing Specialty Center, she combines evidence-based practices with compassion and innovation to help patients reconnect with the sounds that matter most.
Cherri Hoyden,

Audiologist
Dr. Hoyden has over 25 years of experience and has expertise in providing complete hearing evaluations as well as fitting a wide range of hearing devices. She earned her doctorate degree in Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences and her Masters Degree from Western Washington University. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and the Washington Society of Audiology.
She enjoys spending time with her family, taking road trips with her husband Ed, reading, and doing puzzles.

During the fitting process we use Real Ear Verification (REM) and follow Audiology Best Practices to ensure your devices are precisely programmed based on your personal needs.
