“HEARING LIFE, changed my life. I am a baby-boomer with a machinist background. Back when I was in the shop, hearing protection was an option. As a result, I have lost a good partition of my hearing. I made an appointment with Dr. Powell to get my hearing checked and knew it was time to take some kind of action. I was beginning to withdraw from family gatherings and would shy away from conversations. I could not hear my wife when we were out to dinner. After my exam, Dr. Powell invited my wife into an office visit and fitted me with a pair of hearing aids. From the instant I could hear with them, I was hooked. It only took about 10 minutes to not notice I was wearing them but I realized I was hearing everything going on in the office. I purchased a pair of hearing aids. It was one of the best things I have ever done for myself! I am back, involved with family conversations, I am hearing music like I haven’t heard in years, my wife and I carry on conversations when we are out to dinner and hearing sounds of nature that I had forgotten. The aids are small, light weight and for the most part can’t be seen when worn. I love my new life…. Dr. Powell is professional and very pleasant to talk with.
