She earned her M.A. in Audiology from University of Massachusetts, Amherst and her B.A. in Speech-Pathology and Audiology from Loyola College in Baltimore.

“Noel Thayer is a wonderful person and a highly skilled audiologist. I was skittish about getting hearing aids and, like many people, I kept putting it off. Within two minutes of meeting with Noel in her office, I knew that I was ready to make two key choices: to finally get hearing aids and to have Noel simplify the process for me. She then fully prepared me for what to expect in the early days and weeks. She was super available to iron out one or two inevitable early glitches. She cares about her patients and she is great at explaining everything. I had read the other Google reviews of her office and I could tell that they were all heartfelt and very grateful to have chosen Bronxville Hearing Center. I am a professional writer but I am finding it hard to write a review that does her justice!

“I finally convinced my 91 year young mother to go for a hearing consultation, and after reading local reviews, decided that Noel Thayer seemed to be a good choice. In hindsight I must now say that ‘good’ is a marked understatement, because the whole experience from start to finish was beyond my expectations. Initial impression entering the office, Noel’s sweet assistant Katherine was helpful, efficient, and simply lovely. Which paired perfectly with Noel who was extremely knowledgeable, and explained the entire process articulately in understandable terms, very patient, and always kind. I honestly couldn’t have hoped for more, and could clearly see my mother’s trust in her. We have since gone back for follow ups, and my mom continues to wear her hearing aids every day, which is quite a rare feat for a 91 year young person who had never wore them before. Kudos to Noel for making this happen- my family and I are so grateful for this positive achievement!
