“After relocating from Northern California to Portland and deciding to stop using Lyric hearing aids, I needed to find an audiologist who could help me select new hearing aids and work with me long term. By good fortune I found the Pacific Audiology Clinic. I worked with Dr. Brittany Stevens, who was extremely - and I mean EXTREMELY - patient with me, as I had to interrupt our fitting twice to deal with family issues back in California. Dr, Steven’s did the usual testing and then, in consultation with me and my budget, recommended two brands of hearing aids. She gave me a loaner Phonak set, which I wound up taking to California on loan, and then when I returned and we discussed my (overall positive) experience with Phonak, she suggested that I give Opticon hearing aids a try. I wore Opticon loaners for several weeks, The choice between them was difficult but I settled on the Phonaks. Along the way Dr. Stevens answered all my questions, made adjustments as needed, and in general was very patient while I made a difficult selection. 5 stars because I don’t know how to give 6.”

“I found Pacific Audiology through the Medicare website. Medicare gives helpful information in choosing a clinic and some fees. My Medicare plan does not cover the cost of the hearing aids but it did offer help with other costs. Dr Stevens was great! At the first appt. she answered all questions I had and explained the testing process from the beginning to end. The hearing test didn't take long and was easy and concise. She explained the hearing issues I have and how the particular hearing aids she recommended for me, can improve my hearing. The follow up appointments were very helpful, too. She fine tuned my hearing aids and explained how to use the app on my phone to control or change any settings. I was very pleased with the whole process. They even donate old hearing aids to the Lions Club.”
