It’s hard to be part of family, friends, and have interaction with others if you can’t hear or you misinterpret what the conversation is about. Dr. Pastore has given that hearing ability back to me. “Today was my initial visit for hearing loss and getting hearing aids. My hearing loss is not very severe, but nevertheless, very frustrating not being able to hear consonant sounds, especially from feminine voices. I was very pleased with the service I received from Dr. Pastore today. She was very thorough in her evaluation and obviously very knowledgeable about hearing loss, and the hearing aid products available to help. Her time spent with me to measure my hearing and tune the hearing aid to my specific needs was remarkable and she was clearly able to drill down much deeper into the details and fine tune the hearing aid much better than the audiologists at the member-only warehouse store. This is due to both the capabilities of the hearing aid compared to the warehouse store version, along with her extensive knowledge and experience tuning these to patient to make them really work well. I am currently wearing a "trial/loner" set and will return in a week to discuss the way forward, and what other adjustments she may need to make. I am an electrical engineer by trade and I have also done sound mixing for many years so I understand the technical terminology and can tell Dr. Pastore probably has forgotten more about hearing aids than I will ever know. I feel very comfortable that I have found the right person to help me with my hearing.”

“To begin, you can tell a lot about an office by the way you are spoken to and managed by the first people you talk to, and that would be either Jessica or Vanessa who manage the office and make the appointments. Pleasant and courteous only begins to describe how efficient and helpful they have been on the phone and in the office. My experience with other Doctor offices has been more akin to being made to feel as though I was interrupting something more important. Never so with Jessica and Vanessa. They make you know that you are the most important part of their work. My wife and I were recommended to Dr. Emily Pastore by our audiologist of the past 20 years who was retiring. She told us it would be an efficient, but more personable approach and she was right. With my wife and I, Dr. Pastore has been all about providing the best of care and service in the most relaxed way. For one thing, we have never felt rushed through an appointment. Dr. Pastore has always made us feel as though we were the only patients she has, and we know that is not the case by a long shot. This is to say that she takes the time to do whatever is necessary to ensure that you are getting the best of service. It is very apparent that Dr. Pastore approaches her commitment to each client with the view to obtaining the absolute best possible results. Furthermore, she accomplishes this in a way that sets you at ease in a relaxed yet professional relationship. I suspect that the entire office, which includes several other professional Audiologists, operates in the same caring, homey, yet efficient and effective professional atmosphere.
