Licensed Doctor of Audiology Keith Michaels hails from a family of hearing care professionals. The Michaels family has six family members working in their seven different locations across the Los Angeles area. Keith earned his Masters degree from CSULA, where renowned audiologists Dr. Miles Peterson and Dr. Peter Ivory guided him through his graduate work. He then went on to earn his doctorate at Florida University's premiere program for audiology. Keith has helped fit thousands of people with hearing aids in the last several years and loves to help people who have problems with their balance and/or vertigo.

Ryan Kalberer is a California licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist. He is proud to come from a long line of hearing health professionals, and from an early age knew he wanted to follow his father’s footsteps and help the world hear and communicate more efficiently. Ryan did most of his studies in Northern California and has since relocated to help the needs of the great people of Los Angeles while he lives his dream of helping people correct their hearing issues.

Our diagnostic testing will measure the threshold at which you can hear specific sounds. This evaluation also assesses how well you hear and understand speech.
How to Read Your Hearing Test Results
A healthy adult’s hearing range is typically 20 to 20,000 Hz, with most everyday sounds between 250 and 6,000 Hz. Normal hearing is between 1 and 20 decibels (dB). A mild loss of up to 25 dB is still considered typical for adults and usually doesn’t require a hearing aid.
