My hearing. was better when I left their commerce office. I’m still moving forward on the learning curve. It certainly feels good with this kind of back up. “Brought my 92 year old aunt in because her hearing aid tip broke off in her ear. She had recently moved to Fenton from Rochester and had not established a hearing doctor yet. I spoke with the receptionist, Gloria, who is sweeter than sweet, she made an appointment for the following day and the hearing aid was fixed on the spot. “I lost hearing in my right ear a month or so ago. Figured it was a wax build up. I set up an appointment to see David, and sure enough despite having an ear cleanse in June they were both bad again. He took the time to clean both ears and now my TV is too loud :-) I was probably there in his office for about 30 minutes and am very pleased.”

She is the reason that I travel an hour to continue with Commerce. Her expertise, compassion, and professionalism have made this experience of needing a hearing device doable. “I was in denial for so long thinking that I didn’t need a hearing aid. But I was tested about a year ago and told that I needed it and I figured, no I don’t, it’ll get better. Well it didn’t, not surprised, but when I noticed that people kept repeating to me and saying can’t you hear me I knew it was time to get one but I was embarrassed. Silly me, my pride got in the way (people are going to see that I’m wearing a hearing aid). So I decided I’m going to do it and I went in and got fit by two of the best people ever.
