“Worst experience ever. Provider and staff were unfriendly, likely because we are Medicaid patients, which means they would not be earning as much as they normally do. The receptionist and billing manager were visual displeased with having to see us. The clinic did not even schedule enough time for what they claimed was the appointment that was needed. By the time we finally met the provider, he came out into the lobby and before even asking us back into the office proceeded to ask the typical medical history questions. He claimed that he did not receive a copy of tests from the PCP. While I was contacting the PCP to get a copy, the provider went to his office and “found it attached to the email with the referral”. It was only then that the provider invited us back into the office. We mentioned this to the Medicaid program that would be paying for the visit and the provider has claimed that they conducted the appointment by the book and that nothing beyond greetings happened in the lobby. I would discourage anybody from visiting this clinic. ”
Received 04/18/2025Official Response from Trinity Hearing Center:“I am sorry to hear that you had a negative experience. We work hard to ensure that all patients have a positive outcome and feel cared for. I can assure you that being a Medicaid patient had no bearing on our interactions with you. We treat everybody equally regardless of the type of insurance they have or whether they even have insurance. The referral provided by the PCP stated that we were to evaluate and treat for a long-standing hearing loss. It made no mention of a recent hearing test having been performed or that a copy of the recent test was attached. So, under the impression we were starting from scratch, a hearing exam was scheduled. Upon bringing you back you mentioned that the PCP was supposed to have sent a copy of a recent test. I offered to look again, at which time the test was located buried at the end of the referral. At this point I said we could skip the exam and simply discuss the hearing aid options, which we did. Again, I sincerely apologize if we unintentionally caused any confusion or frustration. That was not our intention. Please feel free to reach out to our office if there is anything we can do for you.”
“I couldn't be any happier. Met with Dr. Lynn first time for hearing test and evaluation. She explained everything fully and set me up with a set of hearing aids. Adjusted then for my hearing and told me to try them out for 30 days. Met with Dr. Lane 2 weeks later and based on what I had experienced, he fine tuned them and they are great. Both the doctors and the staff always made me feel at home and not rushed. All my questions were answered and I felt I was getting the best care with my hearing.”
