“I’ve used Johnson’s Audio for about 7 years now. I thought I’d try another place and boy did I mess up!! So I returned to Johnson’s due to the extreme service u receive. If things with a new hearing aid is not just right they will send it right back to the company till they do get it right!!! Dr Kristine has worked tirelessly to get my current hearing aid just perfect for me!! She has had to send the ear mold back like three times till the company finally followed her instructions to the letter. It’s perfect for my needs as I have only one hearing ear at about 20% hearing ability and I’m deaf in the other ear. So it’s EXTREMELY important to have everything just as I need. The only complaint I have is they are becoming so busy that u need appointments to get most things done. They need to hire more help!! Which is a great thing!! Business is booming at Johnson’s Audo and j know why!! ”

“This particular visit I had the pleasure of meeting a new employee of Johnson’s Audiology. Karen and her other fellow employee Mandi were just wonderful to me. Both kind which is a rare trait to find in this world of now. Most treat you like a number with no face or feelings. I do have trouble with them not serving my hearing aid without a charge. I live on very little. I have been in disability for about 27 years and I still do not make a $1,000 a month. Try living on that!!! For 27 years so coming up with extra fees are hard. That is my only real complaint with Johnson Audiology. I know they have a lot of overhead expense but it should be figured in the price when purchased. Only two years and I get a new hearing aid but about the last 9 months I’m out of my service contract I think that’s what the situation becomes. Have been very happy other than this issue. I’ve been coming to Johnson’s Audiology for about 6 or maybe 8 years now. I love that you pull right up to the door ALMOST! Very little walking and no steps. Try other places like one medical clinic very close to the hospital. By the time you get from your car inside the building your exhausted then walking all the way to your doctor well your ready for the hospital! I do recommend this business highly!!! Ask for Mandi or Karen and you will be in good hands. ”

“Johnson Audiology was very clean and well organized. The minute I walk in I was greeted as well when I left. As the saying goes, they made me feel at home. Everything that was going to take place about the examine was explained to me in detail and Megan took her time to listen to me about my hearing problems. She understood the way I explained my hearing issues. She read the paperwork I turned in in detail before she saw me which helped a lot. And saw I had tinnitus and offered to me a different test for tinnitus so she would be able to understand my case better and how to treat, mask, thee tinnitus. I was tested in a lot of different ways and test that I had never had before. Most places gives you 1maybe 2 different test here was totally different and now I see why it takes at least 90 minutes if not a little more. She took the time to hear what I was wanting out of my hearing and hearing aids, which I presently wearing VA type aids, and she went on telling the type she feels would better suit my hearing and tinnitus as well the other things they will do for my hearing and lifestyle. This is the best place I have ever been to and the Doctor as well. I. Give five stars and see why they are a five star rating place this will be my go to place for my hearing care. UPDATE- MAY 10, 2023 This was my second appointment and as the first my experience was excellent and the staff professional and respective. I would not go anywhere else and recommend anyone and everyone to go to Johnson Audiology for their hearing needs. They were even the number 1 choice on the VA’s list to send veterans to and because of my fist experience I definitely chose them again and they test everything possible more than the VA does or anywhere else. Go you won’t be sorry.”

“This experience has been the best I have ever had. Greeted when I first went in and left. Dr. Meagan Johnson was the best. She asked questions and explained what to expect and address my tinnitus and asked me if I wanted to be tested for tinnitus which would help to address it better for what hearing aids I might need, no one has ever tested me as much as she has including the VA. At the end she explained all the test results including the tinnitus testing, and was then able to pick out the best hearing aid for my hearing loss and tinnitus(which I got from the military). And now I’m wearing a set of aids that the va given to me which seems like everyone there is wearing the same ones, and one doesn’t fit every one. I give Johnson’s a 5 star rating best knowledgeable, understanding and takes their time with you all questions answered.”

“This has been the best experience that I have ever had over all the other audiology places that I have been to including the VA. I saw Meagan Johnson and she took her time asking me everything about my hearing all and the places that I have been seen in the past. She explained all about the test during and after the test. She also had recommended me to take the test for tinnitus which,I have, and she was able to understand my case of tinnitus in order to pick the best hearing aids for me. I couldn’t have asked for any better place than Johnson Audiology and Meagan, and so glad I went. I see why this place has a 5 star rating. I also give a 5 star rating.”

Received 06/18/2020Official Response from Johnson Audiology - Murfreesboro:“Dear Mr. Robert M., Please accept our sincere apology for your recent wait at our clinic and please allow me to respectfully address your concerns. As part of our efforts to keep patients safe, we are indeed asking patients to call us from their cars when they arrive and wait for us to give them the green light to come in, a practice that is in keeping with suggested protocol for health care service providers in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak. While our patients and our staff much prefer the pre-COVID-19 days when we welcomed patients into our comfortable lobby to enjoy a cup of coffee or a soft drink and a snack, the times we are living in demand a different approach. To maintain social distancing among patients whose needs are best met with an in-office visit, we must manage the number of people in the office at any given time, and we are sanitizing the office between patients. The vast majority of our patients have expressed sincere gratitude for these measures we are taking to keep our patients safe. But these precautions do add some additional minutes to the day and affect how quickly we can bring the next patient in. Another way we are seeking to maintain social distance between patients is by offering curbside service to patients who don’t require in-office services. While you were waiting to come in for your in-office appointment, you saw our two patient care coordinators making trips to other patients' vehicles to supply them with batteries, repair services, etc. We certainly understand how this may have appeared that we were meeting those patients needs before yours. Please understand that to best meet your needs, your type of appointment needed to be in-office with your audiologist. When you arrived for your appointment and called our office, Makayla mentioned to you that Dr. Gray was experiencing some computer issues in serving the current patient she was with and so there would be some delay in bringing you in. Makayla offered you bottled water to stay cool, a cup of coffee if you preferred that, asked if you wished to reschedule your appointment and made every effort to make you comfortable and to keep you informed. We are, therefore, confused at your mention that you were given no word about the wait, and we were even more disturbed when you left without letting us know. Then Dr. Gray did a follow-up call and apologized repeatedly to you and your wife for the unavoidable delay. Cindy Rice, our office manager, has followed up with a note of apology mailed to your home. We take our service to patients very seriously and strive each day to meet the mark of superior patient care. Again, we sincerely apologize that we missed the mark for your visit. That being said, we respectfully request patience, understanding and reasonableness from patients as we implement COVID-19 precautions and when circumstances outside our control arise, like the delay because of the computer issues we experienced the day you visited. We know things like this can be frustrating to patients, We try at every turn to stay on schedule so that we can offer extraordinary care to every patient. And we encourage our patients to have open, honest communication with us about your needs, such as whether a wait in the car for your appointment will be a struggle because of a health issue. Please, please tell us! We WILL accommodate those needs! In fact, as we move into the warm summer months, we are already making plans for how to keep our patients cool, comfortable and hydrated if they are waiting in the car. We know this is a difficult time for people with the added local and global stressors that everyone is experiencing. Please know we are ready, willing and able to continue as your trusted hearing health care partner going forward. But more important, we want to be a good friend and neighbor.
