“The support you get when you are a patient here is unbelievable. My mother and I are both clients. I bring her here to the Worcester office from Western MA because I discovered her hearing had been under-treated for years by her previous agency. She is profoundly deaf in one ear and requires specialized equipment to deliver sound to the hearing ear (a CROS system). When she had a sudden loss of hearing over a holiday weekend, Joy Latino had an appointment arranged within an hour of the office re-opening on Tuesday. When it was determined it was indeed an equipment issue (not wax or an organic reason), Theresa Nissenbaum re-evaluated my mom's hearing, replaced and then reprogrammed the repalcement device to my mother's new prescription on the SAME day. They had the replacement part on-site. We did not need to wait a week or more for the broken equipment to be sent out for repair, which would have been a nightmare. (Just ask a person who has had to do that!) There wasn't an extra charge for this service, as it was included in our contract. So pleased with the Hearing and Brain Center of New England!”

“I recently noticed a drop in the volume of my left hearing aid which is 4 years old. So i then used the volume botton on the aid to enable me to hear adequatly. I then made an appointment with Theresa and explained my problem. She immediatly said hearing loss is progressive and my aids were maxed out ,so I need new ones She the cheched my ears and gave me the usual hearing tests, after which she said my hearing was unchanged in the past yesr but the aids were maxed out. After I asker her again if she could adjust my aids so I could hear equally in both ears , she made changes. When I arrived home in my usual environment I noted I continued to get low volume from my left aid. I the attempted to increase the volume manually with the volume bottons on the aid but the volume buttons no longer worked as they. did previously. I went back to Theresa the next day and she changed the program in the aids to where it was before her adjustments. However, the manual volume control buttons on the aids no longer worked and she suggested I rely only on my cell phone to make adjustments. I now apparantly need new aids AND a new audiologist. made an appointment with Theresa”
