“After a lenghtly frustrating experience elsewhere, I decided to come to Audiology Concepts, in Edina. I saw Dr. Jeff King in early December of 2022, and thanks to him, his expertise, excellent listening skills and knowledge, my life changed completely! He listened closely to me when I discussed my previous issues and what I had hoped hearing devices might do for me (but had not, up to that point). What I had come to think was not possible for me, Dr. King offered hope, and concrete ideas for a solution. After a thorough review/discussion, together we chose what we hoped to be the best hearing device option. Due to past chemotherapy, I will always have some deficits to manage, but Dr. King literally gave me my life back! Whether at work, or in my personal life, I can now hear what people are saying, and am able to enjoy the smaller sounds in life that were gone, which are all enormous. I am so grateful to Dr. King for his expertise, patience, kindness, warmth, willingness to take the time needed and deep knowledge of all things hearing related. The staff at the Edina clinic have been very warm and always willing to assist in any way they can, as well. There aren't enough positives to say about Audiology Concepts, and Dr. King, in particular. “Had an appointment today (10/25/2018, filled out all the paper work gave my insurance, get in only to see someone that was being trained and had a Doctor with her...She she got me started with the hearing test, starting with the right ear, then started with the left ear, when the Doctor came in and told me that my insurance card had expired, the only thing i could think of is maybe i had grab an old card by mistake...So they stopped ever thing, telling me i should go to Hennepin county, for my hearing test, that they would do the test and fit me for a hearing aid if needed, it almost made me feel like they thought i couldn't afford to have this done. When I got home and called my insurance company (Medica) to see if my insurance expired they told me NO i was covered, and that Audiology Concepts was one company that they took, so every thing should have been good...I called Audiology Concepts and told them that my insurance was good and had not expired, so I don't know what that was all about..But i will never go back there or recommend any family or friends to go there, made me feel like they thought I was too poor and couldn't afford there services.... ”
