“Dr Gauthier and her staff were friendly, patient and detailed. They walked me through the entire process of using and caring for my Oticon More 1 hearing aids. All my questions were addressed along with detailed explanations of how to use my new hearing aids. The real star is the hearing aid itself. The Oticon More 1 enables me to hear sounds that I have been missing for years. It is like night and day. The technology used by Oticon is very detailed and complex but simply put the way the hearing aid is programmed results in a clean, natural sound with better speech understanding. The hearing aid is able distinguish noise from speech which makes voices much easier to understand even with background noise present. Friends of mine have non Oticon hearing aids which have different settings they can switch to depending on the environment such as wind or being in a noisy restaurant. However, the Oticon More 1 automatically adjusts to the environment you are in meaning you don’t have to manually switch from setting to setting depending on conditions. ”
