“February 2025 : I had a hearing test scheduled with Taryn as well as having feedback in one of my hearing aids. I was the last appointment of the day and didn't want to take up a lot of his time. Besides having a high frequency sensorineural hearing loss, I have hyperacousis ( very sensitive hearing). I told Taryn that I could come back another time as it was getting to be close to 4:30. She said not to worry as he had to re-program my hearing aids as my pain threshold is at a lower decibel now than it had been. Everyone in the office Chris, Steve and the receptionist Larissa are awesome. They make you feel very important and don't rush through the appointments. I highly recommend them!!;”

“This is the third provider I have used to purchase hearing aids over the past 18 years. (The changes are due to changes in providers used by my insurance plan.) My experience with SHAC has surpassed past experiences. I was disappointed to lose my first hearing aid providers when my insurance changed. I got my next set of aids at a big box store at a much lower cost. They were fine, but not as comfortable, with them sitting high on my ears, interfering with glasses frames. After 3 years, the volume and clarity decreased. My insurance would no longer cover that provider aids and I had to select one of their preferred providers. I chose nearby SHAC . So very glad I did! Chris helped me select the aids that are best suited for my needs and preferences. They are comfortable and perform beautifully. Hopefully, I won't need new aids for many years, but. if I do, I will return to Chris and Salem Hearing Aid Center-with or without insurance coverage!”
