Gerald A. Hug, M.A., CCC-A, is a licensed audiologist with HearingLife and a seasoned professional dedicated to advancing hearing healthcare. Prior to joining HearingLife, he served as Director of Audiology at the Hug Center of Hearing, where he led clinical services and patient care initiatives.
Mr. Hug specializes in the evaluation and treatment of age-related hearing loss, with a focus on advanced hearing technology, patient education, and personalized counseling. He has contributed to the field through published research and presentations on hearing outcome measures.
In addition to his clinical practice, Mr. Hug is committed to audiology education and serves as a Clinical Supervisor for 3rd- and 4th-year Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) students from Wayne State University, supporting the development of future hearing healthcare providers.
