Dr. Shelby Gillen is a clinical audiologist at our Gaithersburg, MD clinic. She earned her Doctorate in Audiology from Auburn University, summa cum laude, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Auburn University, summa cum laude.
Dr. Gillen specializes in diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings of all major hearing aid manufacturers, tinnitus management, and she treats patients of all ages, including pediatric patients. She is passionate about providing a patient-centered approach and customizing hearing solutions to improve her patients' hearing and quality of life.

“Live Better Hearing provides excellent hearing care. Dr. Leeb who works at both the Montgomery Village and Silver Spring offices is a very knowledgeable audiologist who works to ensure that people get the best care available to deal with their hearing needs. She worked with my insurance company and identified coverage that I wasn't aware I was entitled to for a new pair of hearing aids. When the hearing aids arrived, she was extremely patient in making sure they were fit and adjusted correctly to optimize their performance. She is a true professional and a pleasure to work with. Sheila Parshall who manages appointments and other office activities also is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend the Montgomery Village and Silver Spring offices of Live Better Hearing.
