“I got a flyer in the mail for a free hearing test. I had trepidations, wondering if they'd tell me that my hearing was worse than it really was in order to sell me a hearing aid. However, since I can't understand a lot of dialogue on TV and rely on subtitles, and since people around me seem to mumble, I thought I should get my hearing tested. I did. Rocky tested me, and said I had only a 5% hearing loss (and I'm not young anymore!) and said I didn't need a hearing aid. I appreciated his honesty, and I also appreciated their not trying to sell me something I didn't need.
