Denise Fairchild grew up in a small town in northern Illinois. She and her parents moved to southern California when she was 14 where she graduated from St. Paul High school and went on to Fullerton Junior College in Fullerton, CA.

She moved to Washington state after her college years to be closer to more family and began working in a hearing center in 1996. She started her apprenticeship 6 months later and went on to be a licensed hearing aid specialist through the International Hearing Society.

Her extensive experience in the field includes managing several offices in the Puget Sound region, putting on lectures, helping to open new clinics or restore old clinics, marketing, training new dispensers in the field and managing over 25 hearing health fairs. She is included in the HearingLife Presidents Club of 2025 for hitting a milestone of one million dollars sold in 2024.

Denise’s father had a severe hearing loss, which was the inspiration for Denise helping the hard of hearing. She was lucky to be able to fit him and help him with his hearing before he passed away in 2008. When asked what her favorite part of helping the hard of hearing is she said, “because every person I fit with better hearing feels as good as if I were still helping my own father again.”
